We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production and the manufacturing process. In this role you will ensure that the production team is trained properly and that safety procedures are followed as well as making sure that machines are properly maintained. This person should be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently to minimize machine downtime. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and the ability to coordinate with other departments and vendors. Spanish language skills is a plus. Must have strong organizational skills to keep track of inventory levels, productions schedules and quality control procedures.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep our team accident-free
  • Communicating regularly with the leadership team regarding problems or issues impacting production and production schedules
  • Working with leadership team to maintain a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing
  • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
  • Manage inventory reconciliation process with warehouse team and front office staff
  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff, recruiting and hiring as needed
  • Setting productivity goals for team members
  • Coordinate with Leadership and Production team on quality standards and audit compliance related initiatives
  • Work with the Leadership team on managing vendor relationships, procurement process and coordinate materials, resources, (inventory carrying costs and pace), and delivery timelines
  • Work with Leadership on new product development projects, line expansion and equipment investments as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
