Position Summary: Federal Data Systems is looking for Computer Network Defense Analysts. Candidate will use a variety of tools and information to identify vulnerability and implement mitigation actions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Use information collected from a variety of sources to identify and analyze vulnerabilities and report potential or actual events.
- CDNAs identify, analyze, map, and/or protect against vulnerabilities, intrusions, and threats to computer network systems.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
- Level I - Associates Degree with 4 years or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Level II - Associates Degree with 7 year of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Level III - Associates Degree with 10 year of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Level IV - Associates Degree with 13 year of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 11 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensic, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security)
- 18 semester hours of military training/ coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an Associate's degree (applicable to Level I - Level IV).
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration. If not credited toward education requirements, completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course), Undergraduate Cyber Training (UCT), Network Warfare Bridge Course (NWBC)/Intermediate Network Warfare Training (INWT), Cyber Defense Operations will be considered towards relevant experience requirement (i.e., 20-24 week courses will count as 6 months of experience, 10-14 weeks will count as 3 months of experience).
- Multiple locations available: Hawaii.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
