Job description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HVAC Install Technicians will be able to perform with our install team and individually with limited supervision. Install techs will work with and oversee the installation of diverse mechanical systems. Job scopes may change daily. The Special Projects division works together with office and field staff to represent our company to many of our Commercial customers.
Primary Duties
Setting roof top units and split systems
- Install and field alterations of ducts to meet SMACNA standards
- Layout and design capabilities
- Reading, understanding and working off blueprints
- Having a strong familiarity of local codes for inspections
Requirements
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in mechanical work directly related to HVAC
- The ability to run a crew and work as a team
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
- The ability to prioritize work to maximize efficiency
- To be able to handle multiple projects and work independently
- Great organizational skills
- The ability to solve practical problems
- Universal EPA Certified
- Basic understanding of refrigeration
Additional Skills Desired
Geothermal experience- not required but would be great.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- A flexible attitude, everyday could be something different
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues- not required but would be a plus
