What you will do:
This role will be located in The Bangor Maine area and service Central Maine to Northern Maine.
Under direct supervision and using established standards for Programming, Testing, and inspecting Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Security systems. Provide detailed reports of the system operations to customers, consultants, our design team and subcontractors. Responds to basic warranty calls.
How you will do it:
  • Captures field changes from the project team to help build as-built drawings and software updates.
  • Completes paperwork including but not limited to NFPA Record of Completion and testing Documents, time sheets, expense reports.
  • Performs programming for Fire Alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Systems using brand specific software and Code requirements.
  • Perform the installation of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and intrusion systems using the accurate codes.
  • Assists in the programming and commissioning of all systems as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and solves problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
  • Gathers field changes from the project team and builds as-built drawings and software. Prepares accurate documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
  • Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer advised of job progress and issues.
  • Assist in Scheduling projects with our customers
  • Assists in performing site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system.
  • Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for:
Required:
  • Maine Electrical License preferred but will consider four years of electrical experience with training.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with installing and/or commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Security systems.
  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than their start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding they from receiving the vaccine.
