We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our cannabis dispensary. As the Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in managing the dispensary, ensuring that it runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the dispensary, including inventory management, staff scheduling, customer service, and compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Ensure that the dispensary is well-stocked and properly merchandised to maximize sales.
  • Train and manage a team of budtenders, ensuring that they provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about our products.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cannabis Sommelier (Budtender) to join our team at our cannabis dispensary. As a Cannabis Sommelier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through their cannabis purchase, sharing your expertise and knowledge about our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide an exceptional customer experience, building relationships with customers and educating them about our products.
  • Assist customers with product selection, including recommending strains, edibles, and other products based on their needs and preferences.
  • Provide guidance on dosage, consumption methods, and safe usage of cannabis products.
  • Accurately and efficiently process transactions using our POS system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and displays, and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cannabis products and industry trends, and share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including conducting inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed. targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, adjust inventory, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations, including inventory tracking, reporting, and security.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Manage the dispensary's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide support to the General Manager as needed, including covering shifts, resolving customer complaints, and managing staff issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the cannabis industry.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of state and local cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage a team and drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to inform decision-making.
  • Passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to educate customers and staff on the benefits and safe use of cannabis products.
