As a Sushi Chef or Sushi Chef Assistant, you will be part of a team overseeing the SUSHI

Responsibilities include:

• Food preparation such as filleting fish, cutting vegetables for rolls, presentation, etc.
• Preparing and dressing sushi (nigiri and rolls) and sashimi style dishes along with appetizers prepared at the sushi bar
• Work in front of guests while preparing dishes with a bright and inviting demeanor (unless the guest is unreasonable)
• Perform partial inventory and quality checks for the sushi bar side.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the sushi bar side cooking areas, sushi counters, equipment, etc.
• Please perform additional assigned duties if necessary

Job Qualifications:

• Sushi making experience is highly advantegous - Competitive salary
• Sushi Chef Assistants may be part time with an hourly wage ($15-20 per hour)
• Please have general knowledge of food preparation and techniques. Or, be a very fast learner
• Be open minded, willing to learn, and able to learn from your mistakes (everyone makes mistakes, just figure out what happened)
• Be able to communicate with fellow employees and work cohesively as a team. And, be organized so others do not have to clean up after you
• Consistency under pressure and please don't be too emotional. :)

Additional Info:

• 2 days off every week, 2 hours break for full time sushi chef. Sushi helper depends on full time or part time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
