Ralph L Wadsworth Construction is looking for Rock Truck Drivers in Boise, ID starting 8/1/22

We are looking for Rigid Axels and Articulated Axel drivers

Pay- DOE starts at $25.00 and goes up DOE

MUST have experience with 40+ ton trucks

MUST have a valid DL

MUST be willing to work days or nights

Rock Truck Driver responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents.

• Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes

• Follow all safety policies, procedures and legislation, a t all times observes and operates within applicable traffic laws

• Maintain paper or electronic log book
• Communicate with Dispatcher and other Haul Truck Drivers using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computers

• Moves hand and foot controls to jerk truck forward and backward to loosen and dump material adhering to body.

• May drive special purpose vehicles, including: end dump trucks, center dump truck units, shuttle cars, remix trucks and water trucks

• High School diploma/GED.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of haul truck driving experience
• Must have a CDL Class A license
• Have Doubles, Triple, Tanker endorsements (HAZMAT, Passenger are good to have too)
• Must be willing to work nights, real early in the morning, weekends
• Must have 1+ year in maintain log books
• Willing to do laborer work
• Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
