We are currently looking for a compassionate Part-Time On Call Funeral Assistant/Driver
General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Neptune Society of Northern California- Chico is looking to add to our On-Call Funeral Assistant/ Driver Staff. This position is responsible for completing removals of deceased persons from the current location to our funeral home, and related duties as assigned by management. We are looking for someone who is caring and compassionate, and available to work on an “as needed” basis with a varying schedule.
Requirements:
- Availability nights and weekend, and on an as-needed basis
- Valid Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record
- Professional appearance required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to follow instructions given over the phone or in person
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Compassionate towards others
