The Registered Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment is responsible for various duties related to filling, processing, dispensing and shipping of medication for Labcorp Specialty Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician must adhere to the safety practices of the pharmacy to ensure quality of care for patients.

Essential Job Duties:

Processing

• Coordinate the pull, pick and labeling of products

• Maintain a level of professionalism and document within processing systems based on Labcorp policies and procedures

• Efficiently pull correct products based on drug name and NDC; label products based on manufacturer requirements and any state/federal requirements

• Appys knowledge and skills to activities that vary from day to day

• Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations and policies

• Aid in maintaining accurate drug inventory counts through inventory control practices

• Handle hazardous materials/ products based on USP 800 guidelines

Shipping

• Package product, patient paperwork and any additional materials efficiently to the manufacturer’s requirements

• Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products based on USP 800 guidelines

• Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations and policies

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment

II. Experience:

Minimum Required:

Ideally have two or more years of healthcare or pharmacy work experience.

Experience/knowledge/skill in:

Able to speak Spanish preferred

Experience with non-commercial pharmacy

Strong time management and organizational skills

Adaptability and flexibility

Efficient typing skills

III. Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses

Minimum Required:

The Registered Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment must have a High School Diploma or GED. The technician must hold a Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license. The technician must be efficient in using email programs, instant messaging communications and in all Microsoft office programs.

• Efficiently work in a high pace environment that requires attention to details at all times

• Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function

• Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests

• Solves routine problems on own

• Able to multitask and handle multiple request at the same time

• Able to sit, stand, use computer screens for extended periods of time

• Easily navigate between multiple computer programs with dexterity

• Capable of lifting 20lbs as needed
