Job Description


This position is remote and location will be determined by the selected candidate.

As a key member of the ITW FEG US Sales Team, the Regional Sales Director is responsible for supporting and executing Hobart, Vulcan, Traulsen & Baxter Foodservice strategic priorities, with specific focus on delivering the annual sales and profit targets. The Regional Director will have the daily responsibility of managing Territory Sales Managers (TSM’s) & Independent Rep Groups (IRG’s) to achieve quota targets and carry out ITW FEG initiatives to drive organic sales growth above market rate.

The Regional Sales Director will manage territory Dealer programs and ensure that all TSM, IRG and Dealer activity is recorded in the CRM system daily. The Regional Sales Director will work collaboratively with personnel across the FEG enterprise in support of the initiatives (i.e. brand/product lines, consultant managers, K-12 and chain market segment managers, etc.)

The Regional Sales Director will develop relationship with key end user decision makers to control the specification of the sale.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Delivering profitable organic sales growth.
  • Instill aggressive growth mindset and hunter mentality across region sales team to drive organic growth, share gain and increased profitability.
  • Manage and monitor weekly sales activities of sales team members.
  • Deliver best in class, customer-centric results, to set the standards of execution and performance to ultimately achieve FEG-wide short & long-term goals.
  • Have expertise in specifications, application and all FEG equipment lines (Hobart, Vulcan, Traulsen & Baxter)- warewash, refrigeration, cooking and food prep.
  • Enforce dealer contract guidelines to ensure consistency in the dealer community.
  • Managing TSM, IRG and Dealer quota performance for product line category sales and overall annual sales.
  • Managing TSM, IRG and Dealer performance utilizing quarterly reviews and developing course correction plans for underperforming members.
  • Supporting Consultant Services, Product BDM’s, and key customer segments with TSM’s & IRG’s in the territory.
  • Manage in developing sales strategies that support the Long-Range Plan and Annual Plan process.
  • Monitor, coordinate and approve requests for special pricing to meet competitive opportunities and manage discounting to ensure acceptable FEG profitability.
  • Prepare and conduct business reviews to senior management and select ’80 dealers.
  • Represent FEG at annual Dealer Buying Group conferences and industry trade shows.
  • Identify key obstacles, issues, and opportunities in the territory. Recommend actions to address these areas with the VP Sales and Marketing.
  • Work closely with Marketing to implement marketing programs in region.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree BA, or BS
  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
  • Management experience within a matrix organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth through existing and new customers.
  • Demonstrated success in leading through indirect teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred
  • Food Equipment Industry expertise and demonstrated leadership in the Foodservice Channel.
  • Commercial Equipment Industry expertise and Key customer contacts.
