Available Position Project Manager – Level 2. This position is based out of SSI's corporate office in Placer County (Rocklin) CA.
Position & Description:
The Project Manager’s primary function is to manage multiple, concurrent security system installation projects of varying sizes (across states) by directing
internal and external resources to meet our high standards and customer expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and
evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. This position achieves operational objectives by contributing information and
recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-
service standards; resolving problems; determining system improvements; and implementing change. The Project Manager reviews system designs, site
configurations and installation schedules to ensure project goals will be achieved. This position also proactively plans, schedules and controls installation
process from start to finish to ensure that ethical and profitable installation practices, meeting contracted and applicable code requirements, are employed.
• At least three (3) years experience managing projects
- At least five (5) years experience in the digital security industry
- Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
- Ability to sit in a chair for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted.
Various Duties, Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage projects from start to end Supervise sub-contractors Ability to perform installation as required
Facilitate delivery of objectives Develop project schedules Read and evaluate installation plans
Communicate project status Develop project implementation plan Attend vendor specific trainings
Required Industry/Trade/Field Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
Microsoft Office Family or Products Proficient in Windows XP Proficient in Windows 7
High Energy Reporting Skills Highly Organized
Strong knowledge of surveillance systems Highly Organized Customer Focused
Ability to travel via commercial airline

Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma or certified equivalent (GED) along with good skills related to reading, writing, and basic math.
Duration, Hours & Wage:
This is an "at will" "Exempt (Salary)" position as related to the California Department of Industrial Relations and the Company's Employee Policy Handbook.
You are expected to work the required hours as outlined to fulfill needed responsibilities. Certain travel may be required which could be local or national. For
this position, initial pay is based on education, experience, and skill relative to the specific job, field, knowledge requirement, and work to be performed. Initial
pay will range from $40K-$60K annually. Increases in pay are at the sole discretion of management. As this is just a brief summary, please consult the

- Qualified regular (non-new) employees may be eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (“PTO”). Such PTO is generally used during periods of absence, such as
- Qualified eligible employees may be able to accrue Paid Sick Leave ("PSL"). Such PSL is generally used during periods of absence for sickness.
