Amy's Eden Senior Care is looking for part-time candidates that are interested in moving away from the facilities 25:1 ratio. Are you interested in the health care field? Looking for a place to start? AESC provides training to those who are able to demonstrate reliability and accountability. Amy's Eden Senior Care is offerings one-on-one position's in Minden NV, Carson City, Dayton area. Candidates must support and monitor our client. This includes routine supervision, assist in completing ADL's, monitoring whereabouts, guiding client to activities, and other duties as required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor the activities and behavior of the client in home setting.
• Communicate concerns and observations to administrative staff.
• Communicate and enforces Amy's Eden program rules.
• Accurately records and reports client whereabouts, behaviors, medication received, and vital sign readings.
• Respond to emergencies as necessary. Follows Amy's Eden policy and procedures
• Assist client with ADL's
• Reporting back on client’s progress and concerns
• Encourages client achievement of treatment goals.
• Perform general house keeping.
• Takes inventory of needed supplies.
• Transport clients to approved activities or appointments.
• Escort client for meals, appointments, or other related activities
• Required to be CPR certified. Can obtain upon during orientation
• Follow Code of Ethics
• Must comply with confidentiality requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in caregiving. (preferred not required).
• One (1) Personal Care Assistant experience preferred, but will train the right candidate..
• Ability to maintain appropriate relationships and boundaries with clients
• Ability to work independently and problem solve in stressful situations
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• CPR certified (or the ability to obtain during orientation)
• Exhibits good people skills, telephone skills, and communication skills
• General understanding of Computers, Word, and Excel.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent desired.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Carson City, NV: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
