Our location in Olive Branch, MS is currently seeking a full-time experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician to work on our 1st shift. The working hours will be Mon-Friday 6:00 am -3:00 pm.

As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility and equipment are safe and in good running condition.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Support preventive maintenance program. Equipment PM, watering batteries, and minor building repairs.
• Supports the environmental health and safety program.
• Manages the paper recycling program.
• Works with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Ensures that warehouse vehicles are in fine running order.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing on a regular basis.

Overhead door repair and dock plate repair are a plus

Ability to learn new tasks and cross-train.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least three years of facility maintenance or construction experience.
• Solid communication skills both verbal and written.
• Basic PC skill set.
• Self-starter and able to work well without direct supervision.
• Carpentry, electrical, painting, basic plumbing.
• Must have 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Organized, accurate, and a high attention to detail
• Have a high sense of urgency
• Able to work in a team environment
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
