Job description

We are a full-service bar, without the alcohol/beer/wine. We sell kava and kratom which are both tea like beverages. We pride ourselves on having a "bar-like" atmosphere, without the typical drinks and much more relaxing! We will train you on all our products, no prior experience in the industry required! You will start as a barback until fully caught up on the knowledge and technique required to be a successful bartender at Pause Lake Worth. These skills will include learning how to operate and maintain the bar independently.

The pay includes an hourly rate based on experience and/or performance, as well as daily cash tips, and credit card tips included in a bi-weekly direct deposit.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have high school diploma/GED
• Must be able to manage a cash register (breaking change accurately, etc.)
• Must have a positive attitude and independent work ethic
• Must be able to walk and stand for 8+ hours
• Must be able to work weekdays

Job Duties Include:

• Following food and beverage safety laws
• Preparing mixed drinks
• Explaining our products and its effects to first time customers
• Prepare and full stock the bar for the next employee’s shift
• Able to carry 50 pounds
• Coming in off-shift every month for a paid employee meeting
• Create a positive welcoming environment for our customers
