IT Administrative Assistant
We are searching for an experienced IT Administrative Assistant at our MTI - CORP IT facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Matheson Trucking, Inc. is looking for an experienced IT Administrative Assistant to fill our Sacramento, CA corporate office location to help us as we expand to new heights and support our growing business.
Position Description: The IT Administrative Assistant is responsible for administering day-to-day IT telecommunication, equipment, and project coordination.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Telecommunications
- Plan, maintain, organize, analyze telecommunication contracts (Cellular, Internet connectivity, Landline, IP)
- Maintain records, analyze trends, recommend optimization based on data.
- Track inventory, suspend terminated users, schedule upgrades
- Help Desk Coordination
- Triage service desk requests to ensure proper severity level and technician is assigned
- Create SLA reports and metrics to track helpdesk effectiveness
- Administer surveys and other metrics to track customer satisfaction
- Collaborate on IT Initiatives
- Support and contribute to technology initiatives across the enterprise.
- Participate in and contribute to strategy discussions with the IT team
- License/Maintenance Administration
- Administer software, service, and telecommunication licensing
- Administer hardware / software maintenance contracts
- Monitor and Maintain Equipment Leases
- Maintain all equipment leases for copiers and fax machines for all business units.
- Maintain lease agreements for computer equipment.
- Organize, communicate, coordinate replacement schedule for IT assets for all business units, coordinate lease returns, terminate expired leases
- Administers all equipment maintenance agreements.
- Support IT Management
- Coordinates meetings, takes minutes, tracks commitments
- Audit monthly invoicing to ensure proper billing, monitor trends for abuse, and code invoices for GL
- Supports IT department administrative services, travel accommodations, meetings, vendor contact
- Order supplies, manage inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation:
- $21.00/hr.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of related experience- Experience administering telecommunications and cellular contracts
- Experience creating metrics and analyzing trends
- Experience with inventory management.
- Experience with licensing and vendor support including Microsoft licensing.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of information systems, software, and IT best practices.- Knowledge of project management methods
