ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assume responsibility for all daily operations of the Full Deck outlet.
  • Manage the department with a hand-on approach, serving as a working manager (i.e. majority of time spent working at outlet, with limited office time).
  • Directly supervise on-duty employees.
  • Hire, train and develop staff members.
  • Complete performance reviews and conduct corrective action as appropriate.
  • Educate staff regarding departmental policies and procedures, and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that proper vault and drawer procedures are followed.
  • Monitor and control acceptable food and labor costs.
  • Conduct monthly product inventory.
  • Prepare and distribute staff schedules, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained in order to provide optimal guest service.
  • Analyze staffing needs and business trends.
  • Order, receive and rotate product as needed.
  • Send weekly sales report to Accounting department and Food & Beverage Director.
  • Ensure that all IHS inspection requirements are met.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of outlet on a daily basis.
  • Keep all areas clean and organized.
  • Utilize proper rotation techniques.
  • Utilize proper sanitization techniques.
  • Adhere to safety procedures.
  • Attend all departmental meetings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in the food service industry.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Current ServSafe Food Manager certification.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and human relations skills.
  • Ability to perform all duties of Full Deck staff.
  • Knowledge of cost control and staff scheduling.
  • Knowledge of employee and employer regulations.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitization practices.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Mobility throughout the facility.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
