In this role, you will help identify and drive business operations and process optimization efforts that will help the Commercial team scale for the future. The role will utilize techniques and methodologies to analyze, harmonize, and improve business processes within Commercial and related to other Enterprise processes and systems. This position defines the business improvement strategy, and manages, drives, and executes projects from concept through implementation. This is a highly strategic and systems-based thinker who can align and excite internal stakeholders and can facilitate success through credible dialogue, co-creating business process improvement initiatives, best practices and most importantly, partnering closely with the business leaders to help drive sustainable change in the organization.

HOW YOU'LL FLY

You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:

• Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key business processes that are either absent or are considered pain points and designing initiative that will help resolve the issues. The role will bring forth change management methodologies to ensure understanding and implementation by the key stakeholders
• Leading the execution of cross-functional projects aligned to strategic objectives by designing tactics that will deliver business objectives and strategy and identify impact on applications and business functions, justify required level of investment and ensure risks are considered
• Help facilitate best practice sharing and consistency of processes/systems among the sales force and across Commercial functions
• Leading cross-functional stakeholders through resolving a business issue through workshops, discussions, and co-creating working groups to determine new ways of working that will improve the organization's efficiency and effectiveness
• Acting as a strategic business partner to the businesses in co-creating solutions and testing ideas early and often to ensure acceptance and feasibility
• Providing support and guidance on strategic decisions and investments and provide support during BD negotiations.
• Offering advice, opinions, suggestions based on solid data collected to support and challenge the franchise in terms of revenue forecasting and cost management

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You're the bird we're looking for if you have:

• MBA preferred and 8+ years in the healthcare industry (preferably with specific experience in biotech) and/or management consulting firm focused on business process improvement and/or business transformation work
• Biotech/Pharma sales experience (a plus)
• Fluency in 6 Sigma methods and implementation
• Experience working cross-functionally and cross-culturally in support of business processes and/or systems, especially as they impact and influence multiple departments and levels of management
• Effective strategic thinking and problem solving with high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to both recognize and anticipate problems
• Demonstrated ability to translate solutions into viable action plans that are effectively disseminated and implemented through cooperation of stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships and influence without authority as part of a matrix organization
