Job description

Must be able to pass a background check with no criminal history. HS dipolma required, degree preferred.

· Work under/with Program Coordinator/Assistant Program Coordinator

· Transport youth to and from community service sites.

· Prepare youth for site expectations, and check for phones, etc, prior to leaving office so items can be left there instead of having to remove them from youth at site.

· Provide on-site monitoring of community service at designated sites.

· Will contact on-call officer should any major problem arise for them to decide how to proceed.

· Keep accurate records of youth’s hours and productivity by completing youth’s time card.

· Keep accurate records of hours worked and problems with sites or youth.

· Notify DJO’s of changes or problems with written reports – in a timely manner with a copy to the Program Coordinator.

· Call youth a day prior to scheduled assignment to reconfirm time & location.

· Work with community service sites on future projects

· Research and report to Program Coordinator about future community service sites & projects.

· Prepare documentation for insurance purposes – should a situation arise.

· Keep log of mileage & check in and check out for company van and notify program coordinator of any problems.

· Keep track of community service supplies and items & advise program coordinator when supplies or refills are needed.

· Keep log of all lunch incentives used and have youth sign receipt of said incentive.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Platte City, MO 64079: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
