Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Help design, coordinate, conduct, analyze, communicate and document designed experiments
- Use skills in chemical, polymer engineering and powder processing such as mass balance, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, kinetics, mixing, thermodynamics and chemistry to solve problems
- Create conceptual and mathematical models of toner manufacturing processes
- Support quality improvements, cost reductions, and technology projects – generally done in close collaboration with senior engineers
- Design or develop new analytical methods using complex analytical instruments
Targeted Pay Rate - $20-21.50/hr for candidates enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program; $27-28.50/hr for candidates enrolled in a Master's degree program
Work will be conducted in the development laboratory
Required Skills:
- Excellent leadership and superior interpersonal – must work well on a team
- Oral and written communications skills.
- Expected to engage successfully with all levels in the organization
- Self-motivated and positive attitude
The desired candidate would be in their third year of college, pursuing a Chemical Engineering degree and a preferred GPA greater than 3.5.
