What we do:

At The Arc of the Ozarks, we build relationships with individuals to help them be independent in their homes, active in the community, and educated on how to advocate for their best lives.

As a direct care professional you work side-by-side with these clients in their homes and in the community as a support and mentor in all their daily activities. You will also support them in practicing good decision making and building healthy emotional outlets. You will be fully trained by our excellent team of trainers and supervisors to make sure you feel comfortable calling The Arc your employment home!

What you need:

• Be at least 18
• Valid driver license
• Access to an insured vehicle to use for work purposes (we reimburse mileage)
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Soft Skills, such as: patience, punctuality, empathy, and good judgement
