Job description
Adjunct Faculty - Psychology
The Department of Biological and Behavioral Sciences has a need for part-time, non-tenure-track lecturers to teach 1-3 undergraduate courses in psychology. These may include Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Introduction to Clinical Psychology, and/or Introduction to Occupational Therapy, as well as other courses offered in the department.
Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis. Applications will be kept on file indefinitely and referenced regularly as classes.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have:
- a graduate degree in the appropriate discipline (preferred)
or
- a bachelor’s degree in the discipline along with five (5) years of experience and a graduate degree in another field.
Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience of the applicant.

Benefits / Compensation
Adjunct Faculty members are not eligible for University Benefits. Compensation for each course will be determined as the planning for each course is being completed.
