Aviagen Turkeys, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant for the Lewisburg office. This position reports to the Controller and is responsible for assisting with accounting tasks.

Duties: The following duties will vary according to the needs of the department. Normal duties will include:

• Filing invoices
• Opening and stamping mail
• Retrieving transactions from the company’s credit cards and exporting them to an excel sheet
• Entering Sales Invoices
• Entering Accounts Payable and Sales invoices
• Breaking out and entering invoices
• Stuffing envelopes
• Answering phones when needed
• Other duties as required

Requirements

· Good organization and math skills

· Knowledge of accounting fundamentals

· Knowledge of Excel & other MS programing

· Associates Degree or 3 years work experience in Accounting

· Available to work 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.75 per hour
