DYS is a non-profit provider of adolescent addiction and mental health treatment services in Washington State. We are currently hiring a WISe Mental Health Therapist for our WISe program working with adolescents. This is a full time position offering competitive pay, benefits and paid time off.

Job Duties:

• Facilitates services such as individual, family, or group therapy (focused on topics related to mental illness, or substance abuse).
• Assures that individual service and discharge plans are implemented in accordance with agency policy and WAC 246-341.
• Maintains the continued competency of each assigned clinician in all relevant areas as outlined in WAC 246-341.
• Designs and implements treatment modalities and strategies to support the treatment philosophy of the agency.
• Conducts client/family involvement in all clinical phases of treatment including admission, diagnosis and assessment individual and group therapy, substance abuse education, conferences and recreation.
• Participates/Attends all relevant staff training and clinical staffing meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position will be conducted in harmony with Daybreak’s mission and values.

Compensation: Starting at $28.50/hour, depending on experience with a $5,000 signing bonus

Education/Experience:

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Current Mental Health License (LMHC,LMHCA LICSW, LICSWA). If just graduated license application has been sent and is able to be AAC registered. Current Driver’s License required.

Shift: Monday through Friday, Day Shift

Location: This position is based out of our 3rd avenue office, but the Mental Health Therapist works in the community and has remote capability.
