The Vice President, Total Rewards is responsible for partnering with Executive leadership to design the total rewards strategy for CMA CGM America and the company’s affiliated U.S. brands. Additionally, the successful Vice President will introduce new tools and programs that align with that strategy while administering the Total Rewards programs. Functional oversight includes benefits, compensation, HRIS and payroll. This role reports directly to the Chief People Officer of CMA CGM America.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Compensation, Benefits, HRIS and Payroll teams
Partner with Executive leadership to design and implement Total Rewards programs that support business strategies
Lead a team that is accountable for ensuring programs are following Federal, state, and local regulations
Drive communication strategy of Total Rewards in partnership with Communications and Executive leadership
Accountable for establishing, monitoring, and publishing reports that provide operational value and that assess effectiveness of total rewards programs
Fiduciary for company welfare and retirement plans in partnership with key stakeholders
Maintain knowledge of trends and compliance associated with Total Rewards related programs

Excellent analytical and assessment skills.
Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, and government law.
Proven ability to effectively lead, coach and develop a high performing team
Minimum 5 years Human Resources leadership experience, preferably in Total Rewards
Minimum 10 years of related experience in Total Rewards functional areas
Working knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulations
Experience as a company fiduciary preferred
Shipping/Logistics industry and Federal contracting experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent work experience
Possession of relevant certification(s) such as SPHR or PHR is preferred.
