Position Overview:

The Universal Banker is responsible for establishing, retaining, and deepening customer relationships by performing efficient and accurate banking transactions; and opening and closing accounts in support of Bank goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Contributes towards fostering a teamwork environment
• Provides a superior customer experience which includes listening for sales opportunities and the ability to explain and promote bank products and services to customers in person and over the phone.
• Open consumer and business accounts for new and existing customers and prepare new account paperwork within bank and regulatory guidelines in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Handle customer account maintenance and fraud claims efficiently
• Provide information to customers regarding promotions, contests and new account options
• Assist in community awareness events to increase bank outreach and foster new business opportunities
• Answer questions and solve customer problems regarding checking, savings, and other bank products and services.
• Process teller transactions and other teller duties as needed
• Process and close consumer loans including but not limited to installment and home equity lines of credit.
• Complete Training as assigned
• Comply with all regulatory requirements
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• One year customer service experience providing a highly quality experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Education:

• High school degree or equivalent

Location:
We are looking to fill one position out of our Minnetonka or Claremont locations.

• 8 hour shift
