Transport Driver $2000 Signing Bonus

Essential Job Functions

• Travel to at least 5 out of state branches and dealers in up to 17 states
• Drive a Kenworth Semi pulling up to a 53’ step deck trailer
• Verification of customer orders and company document
• Loading and securing parts for transport
• Completing pick-ups and drop-offs for our customers
• Process paperwork for customers.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor and/or trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Give outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup
• Weekly and Annual Inventory audits
• Providing Silver Service ® externally and internally

Non-essential Job Functions

• Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed
• Data entry and various office duties
• Maintain a clean vehicle and workspace

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Sits for prolonged periods
• Reaches to drive
• Must be able to lift and move objects 50-150 lbs. repeatedly
• Moves about, occasionally through uneven terrain
• Reads invoices and other documents
• Communicates by phone and in-person
• Bends body to file various paperwork
• Works in hot and cold conditions

Requirements

• Must be able to drive our vehicles and equipment
• Must hold a CDL Class A License
• 2 years or more with related experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Good knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to complete DOT physical and Drug Alcohol screenings
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of local market

Working Conditions

• Drive long distances day and night on all types of roads and in all types of weather
• Exposure to noise and vibration
• Exposure to dust and diesel fumes
• Exposure to hazardous materials shipped and packaged under DOT regulations
• Hours may vary due to operational need
• Overnight stays are required
• Able to be gone for up to 5, but not limited to, consecutive days

• Effective writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
