We are looking for a couple of coaches to join our Unfiltered CrossFit family! As a coach at Unfiltered CrossFit you will be responsible for effectively leading CrossFit classes with the support and guidance of the head coach and owners. You should be able to coach any level of athlete, from beginner to advanced athletes and/or competitor. We strive to deliver the best hour of our members day in a fun, safe, and learning enviroment!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Run CrossFit classes ranging from 5-25 people
• You must be availaible to coach between the hours of 5am-1pm and/or 4pm-8pm Monday-Friday. Saturdays and/or Sundays from 9-10am.
• Prepare for each class by reading through programming and coaches notes
• Demonstrate proper form and technique
• Ensure classes are effective, safe and fun
• Offer additional support to help athletes achieve their fitness goals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current athletes and convert potential athletes
• Attend coaches meetings
• Attend monthly social events
• Contribute to keeping our space clean and and usable for the next class
• Start and end class on time
• Must workout regularly with the classes (not while coaching)
• Wear proper coaching attire
• Greet everyone as they enter the gym
• Sign in all athletes attending your class

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CrossFit coaching experience preferred
• 2+ year of CrossFit experience as an athlete
• Minimum CrossFit Level 1 certification (or ability to obtain it within 1 year of hiring)
• CPR/First Aid Active Certification preferred
• Ability to connect with athletes and build community
• Ability to motivate others and implement new ideas
• Excellent verbal skills

Pay and Benefits

• Starting at $18/class based on qualifications/experience
• Free membership and unlimited access to facility
• Option to do personal training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
