TICKET OPERATIONS SUPERVISORTHE UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, LAS VEGASDEPARTMENT OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Athletics Department invites applications for the position of Ticket Operations Supervisor. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, a self-starter and organized. This position has a starting date in February 2023.
Reports to: Director of Ticket Operations
This position will have the opportunity to work with Outbound Ticket Sales, Marketing and Development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Athletics Sport Specific Supervision, not limited to athletic events but required to work specific sports events
- Fall Sports: Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Volleyball
- Spring Sports: Baseball and Softball, Women’s Basketball
- Assist with day-to-day ticket office operations.
- Supervise all game days for specific sport assigned
- Off-Site Game day set-up and Closing
- Control selling operations and pass gate procedures during game days
- Help set-up and support day-of-event operations for football and men’s basketball.
- Supervise ticket operations for designated fall, winter and spring sports. Including Paciolan set-up and maintenance as well as online (eVenue) set-up and maintenance.
- Work with marketing and sales to coordinate advertising and ticket promotions for designated sports.
- Assist in the creation and execution of a marketing plan for designated sports. This position will be charged with helping to increase paid attendance and enhancing fan experience.
- Contribute to the outbound marketing efforts which include calling current customers to retain their season tickets and selling additional single game tickets through promotions and other special events.
- Assist in supervision of UNLV ticket sales associates.
- Act as liaison to Outbound Sales department; assisting with sales efforts, group coordination, lead generation, and processing orders
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Cash Handling/Selling Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Microsoft Office Skills
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or Business Administration/Marketing. Experience with ticket sales; working knowledge of Paciolan or other ticketing software. personal computer proficiency in the following applications: Microsoft Word and Excel; Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluent in conversation and proficient in writing.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour, 25 hours per week including office hours and events. Applications accepted until filled. Please include a resume, cover letter, and three references with phone numbers.
This position would be able to learn and develop within the ticket office for both athletic and special events. Sport specific or athletic specific supervisors would allow for any issues with scheduling for athletics events to be addressed. This position would also be the contact for their designated Olympic Sports ensure the consistency within the information and day to day operations.
This position would also give supervisors additional training and skills within ticket operations and Paciolan Ticketing Software. Also includes experience with Salesforce. They would be responsible for understanding and enforcing the policies and procedures through athletics and NCAA guidelines.
