Teenage Development Director, Neighborhood Center in Camden

Neighborhood Center mission:

The mission of The Neighborhood Center is to generously love our neighbors as ourselves with abundant service and hope today and every day.

ROLE PROFILE

Overview

The Teenage Development Director, under the supervision of the Assistant Director, will be the passionate leader for teenagers in our community, specifically our evening teen path to college programs. The Director will bring his/her skills and advocacy to champion our efforts in serving teens through academics. “Idealist on a Mission to transform the lives of teenagers, one child at a time” might be a more appropriate headline of the job description.

Vision: The Neighborhood Center strives to become an anchor in the community and use our grounds and gardens to engage children, teenagers and families, encourage their involvement in our programs, and adopt new attitudes and habits related to academics, arts, and athletics. The Director will be responsible for leading and managing alone these programs initially; then, additional staff could be warranted as the program grows.
