Description:

Our client is looking for a Team Lead on their Epic hardware readiness project for their next wave of go-lives.

They are currently in process of rolling out Epic Hospital Billing and Cadence modules within the organization and need the extra resources to assist the end users during and after the go lives to make sure that the equipment is performing properly. They will need to assist in monitor and hardware swaps, imaging and deploying machines including laptops, desktops and tablets, deploying printers or scanners, testing the systems to make sure they are operational and help with any log on issues and will be able to escalate any issues that they cannot handle. In addition to the technical work, the Team Lead will also assist in conjunction with the Project Manager, the coordination of the deployment schedule with the physician practices. This will involve communication across the project team (PM, Technicians, practices, internal Epic Tech team and/or internal Desktop and Network Infra teams). The lead will also assist in documentation of asset information, IP addresses, etc. and reporting on status or issues of deployments.

This consultant needs to be flexible in traveling to remote field sites based in NYC (West Side, Upper Manhattan and Union Square) and Brooklyn. The candidate will be prepping/imaging the machines from the Main campus location at 1425 Madison Ave (98th St), and then when the equipment is shipped, deploying at the field sites per the project schedule.

Most of the work will be done during a standard work shift (Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm) BUT there could be work scheduled outside of the normal hours throughout multiple locations depending on the availability of the physician practices for the installs, as well as potential weekend work on rare occasions.

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., and must be fully Covid vaccinated.

Mt. Sinai West (10th and 58th) and Morningside (114th St/Amsterdam) have their go-lives scheduled in September, and then the team will start the lifecycle for collecting inventory information, deploying machines and providing support for go-lives for their Main campus (98th/Madison), Union Square/Beth Israel (lower east) location and their Brooklyn (Kings Hwy) locations.
