Systems Admin

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is seeking a Systems Admin.

JOB DUTIES:

· PC hardware and software support for factory devices including corporate deployed IT assets at the Griffin facilities

· Provide support for PC operating system and security patch updates/deployments • Diagnose hardware failures and replace failed part, replace PC or coordinator repairs with 3rd party vendor

· Basic understanding of network infrastructure (switches, routers, cabling, architecture understanding)

· Performing basic network and server equipment installation under the direction and support from Caterpillar’s infrastructure team.

· Assist with application/software related issues and/or coordinate with the software vendor for resolution as needed

· Provide Root Cause Analysis on issues impacting computers on the factory floor or site-specific client/server solutions and make necessary corrections or make recommendations to the site on changes to improve/resolve impact

· Assist with supporting Caterpillar developed applications including initial troubleshooting

· Assist with ERP and other site-specific account administration as needed • Assist with non-standard account administration in Active Directory

· Assist with other factory IT projects and initiatives as requested

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (required)

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Information technology

· PC related hardware/software technology

· Backend infrastructure (server, storage, database, network)

· Enterprise and Technical Architecture understanding

· Office Client Computing solutions Project Management capabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Griffin, GA 30223: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• VMWare: 1 year (Preferred)
• Linux: 1 year (Preferred)

Security clearance:
