Supply Chain Optimization Manager (Glanbia Nutritional Services, LLC, Chicago, IL)

Provide tactical design to implementation, including performing risk assessments, driving continuous improvement, and establishing polices and process related to Supply Chain (SC) management. Evaluate and optimize existing workflows and processes to better support SC team members and improve efficiency in how the team operates partnering with the operational managers. Act as a SAP system operator accountable for the design and implementation of SAP capabilities supporting the SC work-streams, material master data, order fulfillment, contract management, pricing, delivery processing, billing, and related reporting while ensuring compliance with the contract service model requirements. Collaborate with business partners to identify and develop resources to improve efficiencies and respond to driver inquires. Influence and manage complex supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working. Provide opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies. Review and analyze the impact and benefits to internal processes. Support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Act as the advocate for the application of the Glanbia Performance System (GPS) within the Supply Chain Centers of Excellence. Travel internationally up to 20% of the time. Telecommuting Permitted 3 days a week. Salary: $78,229 - $135,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Utilizing SAP ERP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality; Utilizing SAP SCM and Oracle TMS; Integration and implementation of JDA supply and demand planning software; Trade Compliance, including Planning, Supply, and Delivery; Order to cash lifecycle management, including order capture, available to promise confirmation, credit control, material availability, quality control, allocation, pick/pack, transit, and proof of delivery; and Process mapping and process analysis.
