Kateri Day Camp offers exceptional pay in a fun, outdoor work environment!

Working at Kateri Day Camp will give you hands-on-experience managing a diverse group of children, developing creative activities and lessons, and growing your understanding of young people.

Kateri Day Camp is a non-profit summer camp that provides over 200 children from low income families, ages 5-13 a safe and wholesome summer camp experience. Daily activities include swim lessons, hikes, nature, games, sports, arts & crafts, literacy, science, and many special events.

Summer Camp Junior Counselors

Must be at least 16-17 years of age and provide working papers. Responsible for assisting group counselors with campers ages 5-9. Must be energetic, patient, responsible, respectful, and have experience working with children.

Qualifications:

• Must have a sincere desire to work with children.
• Must be able to work the entire summer and attend mandatory trainings.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Must be hardworking, diligent, energetic, respectful and responsible.
• Must love being outdoors.

2023 Camp dates: June 26- August 11 (closed July 3rd and 4th), Monday-Friday from 8:00-3:30.

Mandatory training dates: June 17-June 24th

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Morganville, NJ 07751: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
