Job Summary
The Staffing Coordinator has responsibility in areas that support daily operations: receive and accurately record staffing and schedule changes, participate in daily staffing in collaboration with the Nursing Supervisor and Unit Nursing leaders, the CHOC scheduling system and is a key resource for all users, gathers and processes time and attendance documents, compiles data and creates reports.
Pay Range
Minimum $21.13 Midpoint $28.00 Maximum $34.87
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience:
  • Previous experience with administrative Staffing process or Administrative support services
  • Prefers 1-3 years of experience with administrative staffing processes. Prior staffing coordination in a hospital setting
Education:
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Prefers Bachelor's degree
Training:
  • None required
Specialized Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize. Ability to assimilate to CHOC scheduling system. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced work setting. Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • None required
Work Environments - Functional Demand:
Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .
