JOB OBJECTIVE SUMMARY This position is responsible for maintaining and promoting warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader. Monitors production and inventory levels. Ensures products are stored in designated areas. Adjusting storage areas and related products according to production requirements. Updates product locations in appropriate systems. Handles complex issues related to warehouse operations and trains fellow teammates as appropriate Directly reports to the Distribution Supervisor and Distribution Manager.

- Review documents and record information verifying quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
- Drive and operate the reach truck, pallet jack and fork truck to select, pull, sort and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
- Hand stack product on occasion when off balance or in the wrong location.
- Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders. In addition, responsible for start of shift functions on all Order tracking Agent Stations.
- Work with Transportation Department to coordinate dispatch and flex pick function.
- Coordinate warehouse labor in relation to start of shift, vacation & sick calls.
- Responsible for research of out-of-stocks, shortages and replenishment issues.
- Trains fellow teammates as required.
- Meet this position's physical demands.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Have 1-2 years of distribution warehouse experience including operation of reach truck, pallet jack & forklift.
- Have supervisory experience is desired.
- Have basic computer skills is desired.
- Be able to read and comprehend labels, instructions and bills of lading required.
- Be able to perform mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to verify quantities of product required.
- Be able to apply understanding of problems involving some variables required.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to resolve complex situations
