The Sr. Inventory Analyst role partners with the Getinge Field Sales team to manage consignment inventory located at hospital sites and in field personnel trunk stock. The position will be responsible for all aspects of the inventory process: managing inventory audits and developing solutions for inventory control challenges of moderate to complex scope. This includes monitoring quarterly cycle counts, providing cyclical and ad hoc inventory reports to Field Sales, Customer Service, and provide support to the Supply Chain team. Additionally, the Analyst will monitor inventory, and develop processes to avoid expired and other inventory leakage. This role will interact directly with the Shared Services Team in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying ways to optimize inventory.
  • The role will help drive accountability and process improvements.
  • Uses analytics to identify opportunities to improve action areas.
  • Develops, drives, and communicates inventory improvement projects for the business.
  • Partners cross-functionally and cross-region to develop and deliver significant improvement with Inventory KPI’s.
  • Implement proactive approach to inventory management of consignment.
  • Conduct cycle count, reconciliation and root cause analysis.
  • Perform activities related to monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory analysis and reporting.
  • Develops process enhancements, and documents improvements to current processes.
  • Operate as a primary point of contact for the Customer Service, Field Sales, and the Management team for all inventory matters.
  • Provide support for capital equipment projects including processing orders and backlog management.
  • Prepare and present ad hoc and variance reports.
  • Ensure safe practices and adherence to company policies.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of work.
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.

Successful Candidates Must Possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in sales and/or inventory support position, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment; experience working in a Sales and Marketing environment preferred.
  • Background in medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented, accurate and able to achieve and manage deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to take initiative, begin projects on their own, and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to develop and present variance and ad hoc reports
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel such as pivot tables, formulas, and developing charts
  • Advanced skills in SAP. Prefer MM and SD
