The primary professional responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses using face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities; conducting and supervising research; seeking external funding; providing University and professional service; and advising.

Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in special education; ABD will be considered if it is clear the terminal degree will be conferred prior to the date of hire;
- Three years of PK-12 teaching experience;
- Demonstrated, or the potential to demonstrate, a record of high-quality teaching, research, and service commensurate with rank;
- Evidence of effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility;
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of postsecondary teaching effectiveness;
- Experience with online instruction and other modalities;
- Expertise serving children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Developmental Disabilities.
