YOUR IMPACT AS A SOUS CHEF - KITCHEN MANAGER

In this food service position, you are the captain who successfully leads our restaurant through each meal service. Every day, you effectively manage your team and ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen is perfect. You watch over your team as they work, offering feedback and advice when appropriate. This isn't a hands-off position, so you still roll up your sleeves and coordinate with your team to efficiently prepare fantastic meals. As you work, you make sure that every person closely follows all health codes and sanitation policies.

You also have the pleasure of being able to flex your culinary creativity by designing unique recipes to fit the theme of our private speakeasy restaurant. In collaboration with the owner, you also create fun, festive menus for special occasions and holidays. Thinking proactively, you make sure to order all the necessary food and ingredients when they get low to keep our kitchen running smoothly. As needed, you create schedules for your kitchen team to make sure every shift is appropriately staffed. You feel great about being an amazing leader who helps keep our menus fresh and our restaurant successful!

WHAT WE NEED FROM A SOUS CHEF - KITCHEN MANAGER

• 3+ years of experience running a kitchen
• ServSafe certification
• Pleasant attitude and an ability to closely work with others
