Job description

Craftsmen Contractors is seeking experienced Pipe Layer Helpers/Skilled Laborers for New Orleans and surrounding areas. This is for ongoing projects for the New Orleans area. The usual work schedule is usually Mondays thru Fridays depending on the weather.

Pay is $15/hour. Job duties include the following:

• Help clean up the job site.
• Assist with helping move materials.
• Help assemble, connect, and construct pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
• Ensure ground is prepped and help trench holes for pipes.
• Assist by aligning pipes and seal joints together with cement or glue.
• Help Pipe Layers by helping connect pipe systems.

Job Requirements:

• Should have at least 1 year of Skilled Laborer experience or 1 year experience in drainage and sewerage.

• Will need to have all PPE (rubber boots if you have already have them - if not steel toe boots will do).
