Position Summary
The Division of Infectious Diseases clinical research unit is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the research activities related to COVID-19 testing, treatment and prevention, HIV and other infectious diseases.
This position will conduct of literature reviews, support data quality and assessment of ongoing studies, and perform data management including linking study data from different sources electronic medical record (EMR) systems, Qualtrics and REDCap.
Responsibilities
Learn how to do a systematic literature review
Learn to conduct study management including participant enrollment, and regulatory documentation
Conduct a quantitative data analysis as part of study monitoring
Work closely with investigators in the ID division to design studies and data collection tools
prepare descriptive analyses, data tables, and other analytics characterizing information from new and ongoing research efforts
Assist in developing slides for presentation
Perform other related duties, as directed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in statistics, epidemiology, or related field
Organization and scheduling skills
Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
working knowledge of R, SAS, Stata or other statistical software and REDCap
Basic knowledge of viral infections (specifically HIV and SARS-CoV-2)
Other Requirements
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
