Winfield Street Coffee in Ridgefield, CT is looking for one senior living part-time prep chef 17$/hr to join our strong team. We are located on 21 Station Road Wilton, Wilton Commons Senior Center. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hospitable.

Responsibilities

*Prepping 6 days a week for 27 Senior Citizens lunch & dessert. 7 Meals although Sunday is allowed to be a cold meal and can be prepped the day prior. *Following Health & Safety Food Preparation *Ability to work around dietary restrictions. (Vegetarians, Salt Reduction, Diabetes) *Restaurant Depot runs or Sysco orders as needed. *Inventory of Stock *Proper Food Handling and Hot Holding *Clean up and Reset after each shift. *Proper hospitality to the seniors of the establishment.

Qualifications

*Serve Safe Certification *2+ years of Cooking Experience in a restaurant *Proper References within prior job experience *Ability to build simple healthy menus, cost efficient to the business. *Customer Service Driven *Organized and Clean Working

Training will commence with prior chef there for four weeks to give an easy transition to the seniors living there. If more hours are desired, we have multiple locations to add you into, at our cafes.
