Abt Associates is seeking a qualified Senior Analyst to support the Social and Economic Policy Division to work in our Rockville, MD, Cambridge, MA, Durham NC, Atlanta, GA, or as a full-time telecommuter.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Participate in project teams in roles such as analyst, TA liaison, or task lead.
• Project activities may include quantitative or qualitative analysis, technical assistance, or strategic advising.
• Assist with managing project delivery including budgets, schedules, project deliverables, client relationships, and collaborating with team members.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in one more human services or education policy areas, such as housing, workforce, post-secondary education, and early childhood education.
• Contribute to written products, including technical reports, briefs, and other accessible formats for nontechnical audiences.
• Contribute to business development activities and proposals for federal, state, local, and philanthropic clients as a technical writer or proposal manager.
• Engage in thought leadership activities such as presenting at conferences and meetings, publishing in peer reviewed journal, developing blog posts, participating in podcasts, or other related activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in equitable evaluation and/or policies and programs to advance racial equity.
• Strong technical skills in quantitative or qualitative analysis, data collection, rapid cycle learning, or continuous quality improvement. May have technical skills with software packages (e.g., SAS, Stata, R, NVivo), although not required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree + Five years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or PhD

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $69,118.15 to $110,589.04 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
