AAY Security LLC, a critical infrastructure security company is seeking applicants to fill the position of Security Shift Supervisor for a Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) regulated facility located in the Houston, Texas area.

7 day on / 7 day off - and other similar rotations allows you to have a healthy work-life balance… enjoy family gatherings, a family outing, child/school programs, or a mini-vacation.

Interested applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years MTSA security operations, OR a combination of security operations experience equivalent to the level in or related to the position AND education at the Associate’s level that provides the specific knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position AND at least one (1) year experience in MTSA security operations.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Sound judgment and leadership capabilities.
• Flexibility, in adjusting to changing work conditions, staffing issues, and client requests
• Knowledgeable in relevant security management, MTSA, applicable U.S. Coast Guard Navigation and Vessel Inspection Circulars, and pertinent maritime (or MARSEC) security regulations.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the client in a professional and effective manner.
• Previous security operations supervisory experience is a plus.

Additionally, all applicants must have a current and valid Texas Security Guard License, TWIC, and unrestricted driver’s license with two years of clean history. All applicants will be required to undergo and successfully pass background checks, drug & alcohol screen, and safety training.

Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent standing, and walking, which may be required for extended periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving 50+ pounds.
