ProCare Therapy, a leading educational staffing company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year. We have an exciting opportunity available near Dover, NH, where you'll have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and guidance services to students, addressing their emotional and social needs
• Support the development and implementation of positive behavior interventions and support strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies
• Assist in the identification and intervention of students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist in the state of New Hampshire
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive, academic, and behavioral abilities
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
