School Photographer Winter/Spring School Year 2022-2023
Summit School seeks a part time photographer to be part of our photography team. Our key need is for photographers for still headshots, yearbook candids, and classroom photos for the coming school year. Due to the subject matter, this internship requires availability during school hours (8:30 am to 3 pm).
A typical assignment is 30-60 minutes of shooting plus editing time to produce 20-30 high quality, finished and edited images. We will use SignUp Genius or other online tool to communicate assignment needs. A Summit Photographer ID will also be supplied. Pay is approximately $14 per hour to include shoot time and editing time.
Photos will be used in Summit School's yearbook, website, social media, and other print and digital communication. All photos become property of Summit School for its use and may not be sold to any other party.
To qualify you must:
- Be 16 years of age or older or provide a work permit
- Have a great attitude and the ability to work well with others
- Have fun and seize opportunities
- Have own transportation to/from sports events
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Google suite of applications-Google photo sharing is preferred
- Have experience with design and photography
- Graciously accept and respond to constructive feedback
- Be able to provide own camera and equipment suitable for sports photography
- Work efficiently, be highly organized, and maintain deadlines
