The School Nursing profession is life changing and at Matheny we believe that our Nurses are inspirational care giversfor our residents. Nurses at Matheny assume respected leadership roles as part of our medical team with shared decision making responsibilities. Our focus is on maintaining patient wellness so they can benefit fully from participation in our therapy, education, recreation and community programs. We are currently looking for School Nurse (full time, part time, perdiem) that provides care to students in accordance with physicians orders and school policy.
Qualified candidates who are hired for Full Time employment will receive a Signing Bonus of $1500.00. ($750.00 payable after completion of three months of continuous employment and the remaining $750.00 after completion of sixmonths of continuous employment).
Maintains accurate and comprehensive student health records. Communicates effectively with parents, school districts, community organizations, government agencies, students, supervisors and staff.
