Controls Service Sales Representative

Since 1999, Engineered Control Solutions, Inc. (ECS) has been the regional leader in the design, installation and service of direct digital control systems for HVAC systems and a nationwide Top 5 Honeywell Authorized Controls Integrator (ACI). With multiple offices, ECS has emerged as one of the largest controls integrators in the Southeast while maintaining a small company atmosphere.

ECS is currently seeking qualified and motivated Building Automation System Sales Representative/Estimators to support our continual growth.

As part of this dynamic and growing industry leader, the Controls Sales Representative will:

• Sell Building Automation Systems Service to building owners, contractors, and consulting engineers. Markets to explore include Long Term Care, Multi-Family housing, Medical, etc.
• Develop project estimates in cooperation with the Sales Manager and Operations Team.
• Set appropriate customer expectations on Building Automation Systems.
• Build partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process.
• Create competitive, high quality and timely estimates, proposals and cost/benefit analysis.
• Address customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements.
• Effectively present proposals to the customer.
• Negotiate value, address resistance and close the sale.
• Develop relationships with local and reginal engineering firms for ECS to provide technical assistance in building control designs.

Salary is base plus incentives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction sales.
• At least 1 year of experience in HVAC or Building Automation Systems sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
