Green Hills Community affords nurses an opportunity to work across the continuum of different healthcare levels of care, from Home Health and Independent Living to Skilled Nursing Care. We are seeking nurses who can take their experience and develop programming to enhance the lives of the entire community that we serve. Located in West Liberty in Logan County, Ohio, we are a short drive from Bellefontaine, Urbana and surrounding areas.
Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform duties as a professional under guidelines of Nurse Practice Act.
- Maintain infection control policies and procedures
- Dispense medications properly
- Application of wound dressing, wound care, suture removal and diabetic care.
- Collect and interpret appropriate data of biopsychosocial health status
- Provide respiratory care (suctioning, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, aerosol and other respiratory therapies
- Promote adequate nutrition (placement and maintenance of feeding tubes)
- Provide basic emergency treatment required (CPR, Heimlich etc)
- Ensure resident safety and comfort by making rounds at least every two hours
- Provide direct care for residents
- Follow safety techniques in transferring, moving and positioning residents
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy
- Complete charting to meet professional standard
- Perform other duties as assigned by nursing administration
