Position Summary:

The Network Technical Associate ensures the maintenance and accuracy of RT Specialty’s inventory of its strategic and identified Network Partners, and their individual retail members that comprise these groups, consistent with Ryan Specialty corporate and regulatory compliance requirements. The technical associate will work with the Agency Administration, Finance, and the Retail Distribution teams to provide basic feedback and support to various internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

• Work at the direction of the Senior Distribution Analyst on all identified functions associated with this role.
• Provide real-time communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding group status of networks and maintenance of these groups.
• Monitoring and responding to incoming email through a centralized email account; tracking communications and requests from networks and their agency partners.
• Maintain accurate and complete agent records in all agency management systems.
• Assist in operations of systems related to Network member onboarding and maintenance, including: basic testing of network flagging and portal project, provide basic feedback on functions to the Retail Distribution team, work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Obtain and maintain Network membership lists and their members on a quarterly basis.
• Work to develop bespoke analytics on Networks and their members.
• Develop and manage ad-hoc reporting requests at any given time with minimal turnaround time. This includes member analytics, state opportunity views, and production overviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with field personnel to license and contract new business retail agency opportunities identified through network group maintenance, including the Network Associate Relationship Leaders.
• Assist with the development of Network standard operating procedures and emerging Network system functionality.
• Assist in integration of mergers and acquisitions among Network members and groups overall.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or prior experience in agent onboarding and maintenance with a strong interest in learning about the insurance industry. Insurance Industry experience preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, while maintaining and further developing strong business relationships.
• Basic understanding of project management methodology and/or reporting query language preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
• Proven ability to lead and see projects through completion.
• Critical thinking and ability to grasp a larger picture from minor details.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic situations while maintaining day to day functions.
• Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record of being a team player.
