Jones-Harrison is currently seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team! The RN will administer medications as assigned and will also be responsible for observing, intervening, resolving and documentation of any significant changes including but not limited to; refusal of medications, falls, etc. The RN will also monitor the Nursing Assistant for work performance and provision of services.

Shift: Full-time and part-time opportunities available!
AM (6am to 2:15pm)
PM (2pm to 10:15pm) + $2.00 shift differential
NOC (10pm to 6:15am) + $3.00 shift differential
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response
- Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures
- Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software
- Notifies Nurse Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
- Monitor’s nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of MN
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care preferred, but not required
- Must receive a “not disqualified” criminal background result from DHS and may not be on the OIG exclusions list
- In accordance with CMS Vaccine Mandate, candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccine or submit documentation for exemption
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests & abilities
- Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
- Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet resident needs
- Ability to work with residents and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Maintain continuing education credits as required
- Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
